Registered Investment Advisors We have decided to not offer investment portfolio management services for individuals and businesses in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, nor tailor our investment strategies to meet your financial goals and objectives. We suggest you consult with your personal financial investment advisor for personal advisory services. All our services are impersonal. Personal advisory services, which we do not offer, may have goals that include one or more of the following: Preservation of Capital: An investment objective of Preservation of Capital indicates you seek to maintain the principal value of your investments and are interested in investments that have historically demonstrated a very low degree of risk of loss of principal value. Some examples of typical investments might include money market funds and high quality, short-term fixed income products. Income: An investment objective of Income indicates you seek to generate income from investments and are interested in investments that have historically demonstrated a low degree of risk of loss of principal value. Some examples of typical investments might include high quality, short and medium-term fixed income products, short-term bond funds. Capital Appreciation: An investment objective of Capital Appreciation indicates you seek to grow the principal value of your investments over time and are willing to invest in securities that have historically demonstrated a moderate to above average degree of risk of loss of principal value to pursue this objective. Some examples of typical investments might include common stocks, lower quality, medium-term fixed income products, equity mutual funds and index funds. Aggressive Capital Appreciation: An investment objective of Aggressive Capital Appreciation indicates you seek to grow the principal value of your investments over time and are willing to invest in securities that have historically demonstrated a moderate to above average degree of risk of loss of principal value to pursue this objective, but use aggressive market-timing strategies to try and enhance returns. Some examples of typical investments might include common stocks, lower quality, medium-term fixed income products, equity mutual funds, index funds, and gold and silver coins. Speculation: An investment objective of Speculation indicates you seek a significant increase in the principal value of your investments and are willing to accept a corresponding greater degree of risk by investing in securities that have historically demonstrated a high degree of risk of loss of principal value to pursue this objective. Some examples of typical investments might include lower quality, long-term fixed income products, initial public offerings, volatile or low priced common stocks, purchase or sale of put or call options, spreads, straddles and/or combinations on equities or indexes, and the use of short-term or day trading strategies. We have made a strategic decision to not offer personal advisory services. We only provide publishing education impersonal services. A good personal advisory can offer clients expertise in managing funds for the unique risks inherent in difficult financial times. The best way to manage money in prosperous Bull Market climates may be quite different than for turbulent Bear Market times. What we can do is help you by providing general education market analysis that may help you and your advisor decide how best to diversify your resources in order to preserve and build wealth. This is just one of many different management strategies that can be established for clients, and may or may not be the right one for you. Fees vary according to the types of investment strategies employed, and generally are assessed as a percentage of assets under management. For certain “qualified” clients – those that meet net worth or assets-under-management regulatory minimum requirements – fees can be arranged based upon performance. As an added measure for sound protection over client funds, Main Line Investors, Inc. does not take physical possession of client managed funds. Instead, clients establish custodial accounts with a broker-dealer and Main Line Investors, Inc. authorizes investment account trades in clients’ behalf. Trade confirmations and account statements are sent to clients from the broker-dealer in a timely fashion. We can assist clients in setting up accounts with broker-dealers, and can help in the broker-dealer selection process. We aim to make the investment portfolio management process as seamless as possible. E-mail us today for a free brochure. Unfortunately, at the present time we are not able to take on any new clients. However, in 2011, we will be offering a platinum membership that will offer a Trading Service where we will conduct 15 to 30 trades per year on an exclusive basis only for platinum members.
